On February 29, 2016 our CEO Nicola MacNaughton successfully completed the requirements to achieve her Canadian Certification in Life Care Planning. Nicola is currently the only certified life care planner in the Maritimes, recognized through the International Commission on Health Care Certification.
A life care planner is available to assist individuals, with catastrophic injuries, serious health problems, psychiatric conditions and other long-term disabilities, to establish a plan for their current and future needs and associated costs. The life care plan is a dynamic document based on published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis and research.

We are pleased to announce that 5 of our staff (Jill, Emilie, Kendra, Claudia and Lyne) will be in Halifax, NS on November 20th and 21st, 2015 to undergo training in the PGAP (Progressive Goal Attainment Program). These services will be available in both our Moncton and Bathurst locations.
The PGAP® is the most researched standardized intervention for reducing disability associated with a wide range of debilitating health and mental health conditions. The PGAP is an empirically supported intervention that has been shown to reduce disability and contribute to successful return-to-work in individuals with back pain, whiplash, fibromyalgia, cancer, depression, and PTSD. The primary goal of the PGAP is to reduce psychosocial barriers to rehabilitation progress. This goal is achieved through the use of evidence-based techniques specifically designed to target psychosocial risk factors. (Taken from the http://www.pgapworks.com/en/index.php website, 2015).
